Mirusing means mind plus perusing. 'My Mind Perusing' is all about my thoughts, reflection, musings and perspective about art, architecture, history, culture, life, love, relationships, food and more. Every post is all about my perspective on random topics. Though most of them are a record of my tours and travels, the posts are not restricted to travel stories only. Why this blog:
I love reading, writing, sketching, traveling, photography and listening to music. Being an Architect has helped me hone my creative skills partially. In the workplace, it is not your call every time and in the process the job in hand becomes mundane. This blog has kept me sane and has helped me keep my creative spirits alive.
Also, being a doting mother and a devoted wife, my life revolves around my family. I am tied to their wants, their needs, and their schedules. Though I love to travel and hope to see the world one day, my current situation doesn't permit me to do so. So, I write about my experiences and stories about weekend getaways and destinations in and around my city of residence. I have written about a few destinations in and around the city of Muscat and Salalah in Oman. Lately, I have started writing about Dubai. Maybe, one day, I will get the opportunity to travel and see the world out there and I would love to write about them...
Sometimes I write, I scribble and doodle. Sometimes I do nothing at all. Please bear with me for my blog posts may not be at consistent intervals and you will suddenly find a post after a long hiatus.
